Terms and Conditions.
Client Agreement
In-Person, Online and Written Services
Terms:
Welcome to WILD CALM THERAPIES PTY LTD. Our services are provided to you on the basis of these Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Consent & Confidentiality Policy.
You accept these Terms by either:
(a) paying for our services on the day of service or prior to the telehealth appointment; or
(b) continuing to use our services; or
(c) written confirmation that you accept, including by email; or
(d) engaging in the resources (either by reading or viewing) that may either be free or for purchase.
Duration:
Therapy: One 50-minute session. This agreement includes 1 x individual session either in person or online via our Telehealth platform. (or the longer option of 80 mins)
Supervision: One 50-60-minute session. This agreement includes 1 x individual session either in person or online via our telehealth platform. (or the longer option of 80-90 mins)
Consulting: One 50-minutes service - either verbal or written consultation. (or the longer option of 80-90 mins)
Nature Of Services Provided:
The services to be provided to you are in person or online therapy, or supervision or consulting. You may choose to access both free and paid resources from our website - this is completely optional and your choice.
Your Commitment:
Therapy: One 50-minute session. This agreement includes 1 x individual session either in person or online via our telehealth platform.
Supervision: One 50-60-minute session. This agreement includes 1 x individual session either in person or online via our telehealth platform.
Consulting: One 50-minutes service - providing me with sufficient briefing of the request. This time is included in the consultation total charge.
Attendance + Cancellation Policy:
Please attend all sessions (in person and online) on time. Changes to session times need to be made with 48 hours’ notice to avoid forfeiting the session and receiving a cancellation fee. A cancellation without 48 hours’ notice will incur the cost of the full session. This does not include weekends as an acceptable notification period as our work related devices and office are not on or open on weekends in order to receive this. Please note, for clients utilising a Mental Health Care Plan, a Medicare rebate is not available on any forfeited sessions. It is your responsibility to be aware of and diarise the sessions you book or arrange with me. You are responsible for viewing any resource or online course after purchase.
Payment & Admin Fees:
If your card payment bounces for any reason (eg. new card, insufficient funds etc) or there is follow up required for your account or invoices, a $5 Admin Fee will be applied and added to your total payment amount. The Admin Fee will be applied each time your card is re-attempted to be processed or requires follow up from our admin team.
To avoid the additional Admin Fee, please ensure the correct funds are available in your account prior to the day of service.
Guarantee:
As required under Australian Consumer Law, we guarantee that the Services we will supply to you are rendered with due care and skill; fit for the purpose that we advertise. We will continue to undertake current and relevant professional development and clinical supervision according to our skillset, specialty and areas of interest. If there is something out of our scope of practice, we will advise you prior. We cannot guarantee you will take the necessary actions identified in this program/service or achieve a specific result. What you achieve through this program/service is your choice and responsibility.
Refund Policy:
As per the Australian Consumer Law we do not provide refunds in instances where; you change your mind, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it. If you have any dissatisfaction with the service being offered it is your responsibility to communicate that to us so your needs can be addressed, however we also offer ongoing open dialogue within sessions to seek continuous feedback as we progress.
Confidentiality:
We will keep your records secure and only disclose confidential information with your consent, or as required by law or legislation. We have policies and procedures in place should there be an accidental breach, hack or leak.
Acknowledgement & Disclaimer:
You understand that you have hired us (WILD CALM THERAPIES PTY LTD) for therapy, supervision or consulting at the agreed Fee or you have purchased materials that we have produced. It is your choice whether you implement any advice, strategies or support we offer (through any medium, including resources and online courses), and we am not liable for any consequences that result from actions you may or may not take.
Liability:
To the extent we are able to at law, we exclude all express or implied representations, conditions, guarantees, warranties and terms relating to the Services of this agreement except those set out in this agreement.
Unexpected death or incapacitated scenario:
Should the case arise where we become incapacitated or deceased, we appoint the Executor of each practitioners’ Professional Will to handle their business and client matters on our behalf. This is an important ethical choice to handle your affairs responsibly and thoughtfully by another suitably qualified mental health professional. They would likely make contact with you as soon as practicable and support you to make appropriate referrals.
