Highly specialised, individualised Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ work for the thing you haven't been able to shift on your own.
Intensive. Targeted. Personalised. Designed around you.
Applications now open for 2027.
Sometimes you don't need more time.
You need the right intervention.
There may be something specific you've been trying to change, resolve, prepare for or move through.
You've read the books.
You've done the thinking.
You've had the conversations.
You may even understand exactly why you're doing what you're doing.
And yet...
You're still stuck.
The same pattern keeps showing up.
Your nervous system keeps responding the same way.
You know what you want to do—but something inside you keeps pulling you back.
Or perhaps you're approaching something important and you want to be exceptionally prepared.
A major presentation.
A leadership challenge.
A career transition.
A difficult conversation.
A significant decision.
An important professional or personal goal.
This is where the 1:1 Neuro Somatic Intensive comes in.
This is not ongoing therapy.
And it isn't generic coaching.
This is a highly specialised, focused period of Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ work, designed around one person, one set of goals and the patterns that are getting in the way.
We'll identify what is actually happening beneath the surface and work directly with the nervous system patterns, protective strategies and embodied responses that may be maintaining it.
Then we'll practise something different.
Again and again.
Until something starts to change.
What can we work on?
Performance & professional challenges
Preparing for a major presentation or public speaking event
Stepping into a bigger leadership role
Navigating high-stakes professional situations

Over-functioning
Procrastination
Avoidance
Fear of failure
Fear of success
Difficulty being visible
Difficulty taking up space
Chronic self-doubt
Inner critic patterns
Difficulty setting or maintaining boundaries
Repeated relational or professional patterns
Life transitions & challenges
Major life transitions
Identity shifts
Relationship changes
Career decisions
Returning to work
Starting something new
Making a significant change you've been circling for years
Navigating a period of uncertainty or increased responsibility
Complex or longstanding patterns
Sometimes you know exactly what you want to change. You just haven't been able to get there.
This is where we can slow things down and look at the deeper protective patterns underneath the behaviour.
Not just: "Why do I keep doing this?"
But: "What is my nervous system protecting me from—and what would it need to experience something different?"
What makes this different?
Most coaching starts with the goal.
Most therapy starts with the problem.
This work starts with the whole system.
We'll look at:
The outcome
What specifically do you want to be different?
The pattern
What keeps happening instead?
The protective strategy
What is your system trying to prevent, manage or protect you from?
The nervous system
What happens in your body when the pattern is activated?
The capacity
What needs to become possible for you to respond differently?
The Self-Led response
What does it look like when you can act from choice rather than protection?
This is the NSI framework applied intensively and specifically to you.
We don't just talk about the problem.
We work with it. Your body is part of the intervention.
Sessions may involve:
Nervous system mapping
Building somatic awareness and capacity
Interoceptive, proprioception and vestibular practices - based on needs identified
Experiential exercises / tools - based on needs identified
Education and learning that your ‘issues’ have arisen as protective or survival strategies
Working with embodied responses
Rewiring new responses
Integrating new patterns into real-world situations
Between-session practice and experimentation
The goal isn't to make you permanently calm. No. The goal is to increase your capacity, flexibility and choice. So that when the thing happens... You have more options.
This is about rewiring and building nervous system safety.
A truly individualised approach
There is no generic six-week curriculum. No set sequence you have to follow. No "one size fits all" nervous system protocol.
Your package is built around:
Your goal.
Your patterns.
Your nervous system.
Your context.
Your data.
And your significant intake assessment process - this is a series of several in-depth questionnaires.
We'll determine what needs to be worked on and continually build tools in direct response the focus as your capacity grows.
The intensive format
This work requires consistency.
That's why the minimum commitment is 12 weeks (3 month blocks).
You will have weekly involvement with me throughout your intensive period.
This creates enough continuity for us to:
Understand → Practise → Apply → Review → Adjust → Repeat
rather than having isolated sessions that don’t quite translate into everyday life.
Choose your timeframe
3-Month Intensive (12 weeks)
The minimum commitment. A focused period of weekly NSI work around a clearly defined goal, challenge or pattern. Ideal when you have a specific outcome or upcoming challenge you want to work towards.
6-Month Intensive (24 weeks)
For more complex, longstanding or multi-layered patterns. Allows greater time for deeper exploration, repeated practice and integration into real life.
Ongoing Blocks / Add ons
Once your initial intensive is complete, you may choose to continue in additional three-month blocks where appropriate. Or come back for more specific needs at any time. You commit to the period of work you need.
This is intensive for a reason.
This isn't designed for someone wanting occasional sessions when something goes wrong. This is a real commitment to deep diving into yourself from underneath.
It is for people who are ready to actively work on something.
You'll be expected to engage between sessions. To practise. To notice. To experiment.
To bring real-life situations into the work.
To tell me what's working—and what isn't.
Because the transformation doesn't happen in the hour we spend together.
The session is where we work it out, try some things and test in real time.
Your life is where you practise it.
Who is this for?
This particular intensive is deliberately broad.
You might be:
A high-performing professional
A business owner
A leader or executive
An artist or creative
An athlete or performer
A therapist or helping professional
Someone navigating a major life transition
Someone who has a specific pattern they desperately want to change
Someone preparing for a high-stakes event
Someone who has done considerable personal development but still feels stuck
You don't need to fit a particular demographic. But you DO need a specific reason or issue for wanting to do this work now.
Why work with me?
My background as a therapist means I bring years of experience understanding complex human behaviour, trauma, protective patterns, relationships and the ways people can become stuck.
But this intensive is not therapy.
The work is deliberately contained within the Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ framework.
That means we aren't opening up your entire history and trying to fix everything. Yet we will deep dive.
We're asking:
What do you want to change?
What's getting in the way?
What is your nervous system doing?
What does it need to learn?
And how do we practise that in real life?
Focused.
Practical.
Experiential.
Targeted.
What this isn't
Traditional psychotherapy
Trauma therapy
Crisis support
Generic life coaching
Motivational coaching
A passive "talk about your problems" service
A quick-fix nervous system reset
A program where I tell you what to do and you disappear until the next session
If you need psychological treatment, trauma therapy or crisis support, this isn't the appropriate service, but you can still continue that elsewhere if you need to alongside but separate to this.
If you're ready for focused, structured NSI work around a specific goal or challenge, it may be exactly what you're looking for.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No. This is a specialised NSI coaching/intensive service. Although my professional background is in therapy and informs the depth and quality of the work, this service is not psychotherapy and isn't intended to diagnose through a medical model lens. The work remains focused on your defined goal, challenge or pattern through the Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ framework.
Do I need to have a specific goal, focus or presentation?
Yes. You don't necessarily need to know exactly how you'll achieve it—that's part of the work. But there needs to be something you want to change, achieve, prepare for or move through. We'll define and refine the target together at the beginning.
What if my issue is complex?
That's often where intensive work can be particularly useful. You don't have to have a neat, simple problem. However, we'll work to identify a clear focus so that the intensive remains purposeful rather than becoming open-ended therapy.
Can we work on trauma?
We can work with patterns and nervous-system responses that may have developed through difficult or traumatic experiences, provided the work remains appropriate for this service. This is not trauma therapy. If trauma processing or treatment is required, I will recommend an appropriate therapeutic pathway instead.
How often do we meet?
The intensive requires weekly involvement. The exact structure and session frequency will be discussed when we establish your package, but consistency is a core part of the model. The initial 2 sessions will be longer to establish intake, assessment and foundations.
Why is the minimum three months?
Because nervous system change requires repetition, experience and integration. Three months gives us enough time to move beyond insight into consistent practice and real-world application. We set a realistic target and goal for a block of 3 months of work. If you would like to continue more work after that, we can engage in further blocks if you’d like.
Can I stop after three months?
Yes, of course. You can technically stop anytime you like. Three months is the minimum commitment, not an indefinite contract. At the end of each block, we'll review where you're at and whether another block would be useful. There is no expectation to continue. This is designed to be intensive, to get you up and going and not keep you loosed into years of appointments for self development.
Is everything online?
Yes. The intensive is delivered entirely online, allowing us to work together regardless of where you live. We find this makes the service more accessible, reduces barriers and that you’re more likely to make the most of participating.
What is the time commitment and when is this?
The first two sessions will be 2 hours. Every session after that will be 1 hour. We will use a secure Telehealth link in the Zanda platform for the video calls and you will be sent a link to access. We will establish a suitable time in both of our schedules; this is likely to be on Mondays. Should a session land on a public holiday that week, we can discuss options a. continue with it anyway, b. reschedule if possible that week, c. add it to the end of the package. You will not be penalised or miss our on sessions due to public holidays.
Is this suitable if I'm already seeing a therapist?
Potentially. The two services have different purposes, but they can sometimes complement each other. If you're receiving therapy for a significant mental health or trauma-related issue, we'll discuss whether this intensive is appropriate before beginning.
How much does it cost?
This is a premium, highly individualised service and is priced accordingly. The investment reflects the level of personalisation, weekly involvement and intensive nature of the work. And yet, if you do the maths, this is still not much more than standard individual therapy per 50 minute rate in Australia, which can go on for years.
There is a payment plan option if paying the total up front is not an option. If relevant, some professionals may be able to claim this as professional development and support or supervision at tax return time.
3-Month Intensive (12 weeks) $3850 excl GST
6-Month Intensive (24 weeks) $7700 excl GST
Ready to work on the thing that won't shift?
You don't need another year of thinking about it.
You don't need another generic program.
And you don't necessarily need to understand everything before you begin.
You need a clear target.
A willingness to engage.
And a nervous system that is ready to learn something different.
Apply for a 1:1 Neuro Somatic Intensive. Use the Contact Form.
We'll start with a conversation about what you're wanting to change, what's been getting in the way and whether this is the right service for you.
Three-month minimum. Weekly involvement. Fully online.
Limited places available in 2027.
A six-month Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ closed group for ambitious womxn ready to lead without living in survival mode.
For womxn who are successful on the outside—but don't want to keep paying for it on the inside.
For womxn who are tired of over-functioning, pushing through and carrying it all alone.
So you've built a life that looks successful.
You're capable. Reliable. Driven.
People trust you. You get things done.
You've built a career, supported others, managed responsibilities and kept moving forward—often while carrying far more than anyone realises.
From the outside, you're functioning.
From the inside, you might recognise something different.
Perhaps you're constantly "on." You struggle to truly switch off.
You overthink. You over-function. You say yes when you mean no.
You carry everyone else's emotional load. You feel guilty resting.
You know what healthy boundaries are—but somehow they disappear in real life.
You can explain exactly what needs to change.
But your nervous system keeps pulling you back into the same patterns.
This isn't a lack of insight. It isn't laziness.
And it certainly isn't because you're not trying hard enough.
Often, it's because your nervous system learned that performing, pleasing, achieving, fixing, anticipating or staying in control was the safest way to move through the world.
Those strategies probably served you once.
They may even be the reason you've become so successful.
But they also come with a cost.
And you can probably feel it… That’s why you’re here.
This isn't another mindset course.
It isn't productivity coaching.
It isn't therapy.
And it isn't a traditional women's circle. Although we pay our respects to Indigenous and communal women’s circles in across the globe as their origin purpose is inspiration for this work.
The Sustainable High Performance Collective is a practical, experiential six-month online group grounded in Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ (NSI).
Together, we'll show you some of the groundwork for expanding your nervous system capacity so that you can go out there into the world and conquer all that you desire to conquer, from a place of more spaciousness, tolerance, authenticity and clarity - as opposed to the blur, rush, fatigue, adrenaline fuelled and adrenal overdrive place that’s starting to wear thin.
This isn't about collecting more information. Or a badge of new age wellness trend to chat about.
It's about literally practising change. In real time.
And it certainly is not about performing wellness. That would just be mimicking the same old pattern and trap.
Because insight alone rarely creates lasting transformation.
Your nervous system needs opportunities to experience something different.
You will learn to speak the language of your own body and nervous system, more than just ignoring it and pushing through.
That's what we'll do together.
Who this is for
This collective is designed for womxn who are:
Professionals, leaders, business owners or helping professionals (doctors, lawyers, executives, managers, directors, psychiatrists, etc)
Highly capable and often the person everyone relies on
Tired of constantly carrying responsibility
Feeling stretched, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted despite functioning well
Wanting to prevent burnout—not recover after it's too late
Curious about nervous system health, embodiment and sustainable performance
Ready to create success that doesn't require self-abandonment
You don't have to be in crisis.
In fact, many women who join will appear to be doing exceptionally well. And feel like you don’t relate to some of the struggles described here. That may well be the case, and it may be that your sweet system has become so good at overriding and not listening to its cues.
This space is for those who know there has to be a healthier way to live, lead and achieve. As well as for those who simply want to take their lives, leadership, careers and action-taking capacity to a whole new level.
What makes this different?
Most personal development teaches you what to think.
NSI teaches you how to experience change.
Rather than relying solely on discussion and cognitive insight, each session integrates practical nervous system tools and embodied practices that help bridge the gap between knowing and doing.
We'll move beyond simply talking about:
Boundaries
Burnout
Self-worth
Perfectionism
People pleasing
Emotional regulation
Capacity
Authenticity
We'll practise them.
Expect to leave each session with tools you can immediately apply to yourself that will start to have an affect in your work, relationships and everyday life.
Together we'll explore themes such as
Understanding nervous system basics
Why high achieving womxn often struggle to rest
The hidden cost of over-functioning
Sustainable leadership and performance
How our survival responses subtly turn up in our working life
Building genuine capacity instead of simply coping
Boundaries that your body can actually maintain
Emotional regulation in real time
Developing a stronger relationship with yourself
Living and leading from your values rather than your protective strategies
Every cohort evolves differently, allowing space for the needs and experiences of the participants within it.
Every 6 mth group will offer a different focus point and often build on the last. However you are welcome to join for as little or as many ongoing rounds of as you would like. The trainings, teachings, tools and practices will only compound and accumulated for your benefit over time.
Imagine if success no longer required survival mode.
Imagine making decisions from clarity instead of pressure and brain fog.
Leading without constantly carrying everyone, and being able to share the load
Resting without as much guilt.
Trusting yourself to handle tomorrow’s load without all the ‘just one more thing’ midnight bedtimes.
Speaking honestly without over-explaining.
Having ambition without sacrificing yourself.
Feeling successful because of how you and your life feel—not just how it looks.
That's the work.
What to expect
Monthly 1-hour live online sessions (this will likely be recorded)
Six-month closed group
High performing womxn across Australia
Some learning and education time, followed by actually doing the tools in the session together
Very little talking and disclosure - there is no expectation to share personal information in this group. Nervous system work is deliberately designed to bypass the standard conscious, cognitive and verbal processes.
Practical nervous system tools and experiential exercises - learning in an embodied, lived experience way
Supportive, grounded and evidence-informed facilitation
This is an experiential learning space for those ready to be actively involved and target change from a new perspective. It is not group therapy.
While many women find the experience deeply personal and meaningful, the focus remains on developing practical skills, increasing nervous system capacity and creating sustainable change.
Our Approach
The Sustainable High Performance Collective is grounded in Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ (NSI)—an integrative approach that combines contemporary neuroscience, applied neurology, psychology, somatics and embodied practice to support meaningful change.
Rather than relying on insight alone, NSI recognises that our nervous system often determines how we think, feel, connect, lead and respond under pressure. While understanding ourselves is important, sustainable change happens when the mind and body begin working together.
This collective draws on evidence-backed principles from:
Neuroscience – understanding how the brain and nervous system adapt through experience (neuroplasticity) and why change requires more than willpower.
Polyvagal Theory – exploring how our autonomic nervous system influences our capacity for connection, resilience, performance and wellbeing.
Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) – understanding how relationships, the brain and the body shape our patterns throughout life.
Attachment Theory – recognising how early relational experiences can influence leadership, boundaries, self-worth, perfectionism and relationships in adulthood.
Somatic Psychology – learning to recognise and work with the body's signals rather than overriding or ignoring them.
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) – developing a more supportive internal relationship that reduces shame, self-criticism and threat-based motivation.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – building psychological flexibility and creating meaningful action aligned with your values.
Schema Therapy – identifying longstanding patterns that continue to shape behaviour, relationships and decision-making.
Trauma-informed practice – recognising that many high-performing behaviours are adaptive survival strategies rather than personal flaws.
While these models inform the collective, this is not a therapy program or a clinical training course.
Every session is practical, experiential and immediately applicable to everyday life.
You'll spend less time learning theories and more time developing the capacity to embody them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No. This is an educational and experiential personal development collective. Although many women find the work deeply meaningful and personally transformative, the purpose is to build nervous system capacity, self-awareness and sustainable ways of living and leading—not to provide psychological treatment. If you are currently experiencing significant mental health difficulties or are in crisis, individual therapy may be a more appropriate starting point, ro could accompany your supports alongside and separate to this program.
Do I need to know anything about the nervous system?
Not at all. Everything is explained in an accessible, practical way. Whether you're completely new to this work or already familiar with nervous system regulation, you'll gain practical tools that you can apply immediately.
Is this just another women's circle?
No. While connection and community are important, this is a focussed learning and professional experience.
Each session combines education, guided experiential practices, reflection and practical application grounded in Neuro Somatic Intelligence™.
Expect less passive discussion and more active practice.
I'm functioning well. Is this still for me?
Absolutely. Many women who join are highly successful professionally.
They aren't falling apart—they're simply recognising that the way they've achieved success isn't sustainable. This collective is designed for women who want to thrive, not simply survive.
What if I'm already seeing a therapist?
That's completely fine. Many women choose to participate alongside individual therapy. Because the collective focuses on practical nervous system skills and experiential learning, many participants find the two approaches complement each other well.
What happens during each session?
Every monthly session includes a blend of:
Practical nervous system education
Guided somatic and experiential practices
Light reflection and discussion, QandA
Opportunities to apply the concepts to real-life situations
Strategies you can continue practising between sessions
No two sessions are exactly the same, but every session is designed to leave you with something practical to use immediately.
Why only one hour each month?
Sustainable change doesn't happen through information overload. This collective values integration over intensity. It mirrors the exact patterns we’re trying to create - rest and digest vs over functioning. Rather than giving you hours of content to consume, each session focuses on introducing practical concepts and experiences that can be practised in everyday life over the following month. Small, consistent changes create lasting transformation.
Will I have to share personal experiences?
No. This is not therapy or reflective practice. Given the time limit is one hour only, and will be boundaried to keep to time due to honouring everyone’s other commitments. If there is a short amount of sharing or questions being asked, there is never any expectation to disclose more than feels comfortable. Participation can look different for everyone, and your boundaries will always be respected.
Is this available outside Australia?
Initially, the collective is available to women living anywhere in Australia. As the program grows, international groups may be offered in the future.

There is a payment plan option if paying the total up front is not an option.
As professionals you can also claim this as professional development or coaching support at tax return time, if that is relevant to you.
If you would prefer an individual tailored package for 1:1 neuro-somatic focussed work with Jen, this can be arranged and is listed as a separate offer. Please click on that option to learn more or contact us directly to discuss. A 1:1 package goes far beyond the typical look and feel of just therapy. It is a deep and tailored treatment package based on specific presentations you are wanting to target.
A six-month Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ experiential supervision for therapists and helping professionals who want to practise differently.
For practitioners wanting to move beyond case discussion into embodied, sustainable nervous system practices to support themselves in the work.
The differentiator is that this is 'supervision through a nervous-system and somatic lens’, with actual practice in applied neurology rather than simply verbal and cognitive processing.
What if supervision could go beyond talking about the work?
You already know how to talk about your practice.
You know how to discuss a client or patient.
You know how to reflect, formulate, conceptualise and analyse.
You may already have excellent clinical knowledge and years of experience.
But what happens when you bring the body and nervous system into the room?
What happens when you stop simply talking about regulation and actually practise it?
What happens when you become more aware of what is happening in your own nervous system while you're sitting with a client?
That is where this group begins.
This isn't traditional supervision.
The Practitioner Collective is a six-month online supervision group for therapists, counsellors, social workers, coaches and other helping or health professionals who want something different from traditional supervision.
It is grounded in Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ (NSI) and focuses heavily on practical nervous system and somatic tools that can be integrated into your professional practice.
We'll get underneath your work - underneath what sits on the surface.
We’ll get into the body. Into the nervous system. Into the patterns that can influence how we show up as practitioners—and how our clients experience us.
Expect something different.
The missing link in supervision?
Most professional development gives you more information.
Most supervision gives you more perspective and insight.
But knowing what to do and being able to embody it in the moment are not always the same thing.
You can know the theory of regulation and still become activated in a difficult session.
You can understand boundaries and still find yourself over-functioning for a client.
You can know about compassion and still notice your own inner critic getting louder.
You can understand trauma intellectually while your own nervous system is responding to what you're hearing.
This is where somatic practice becomes particularly valuable.
The Practitioner Collective creates space to notice, understand and practise these things—not just talk about them.
Who this is for
This group is for practitioners who:
Are therapists, counsellors, social workers, psychologists, coaches or other helping professionals
Want supervision that goes beyond traditional cognitive or talking reflection
Are interested in nervous system modulation and somatic practice
Want to develop their capacity to work with clients in a more embodied way
Sometimes notice themselves over-functioning, rescuing, absorbing or carrying their clients' experiences
Want to understand their own nervous system responses within therapeutic relationships
Are curious about what happens beneath the words in the room
Want practical tools they can use immediately
Are committed to developing sustainable, grounded professional practice
May be going through their own life and personal stressors and being stretched to keep turning up to do client work, and finding this wearing them down and the regular tools they have aren’t cutting it
Are open to experiential learning rather than simply receiving information
You do not need to be an NSI practitioner already.
You don't need to know the language.
You don't need to have a somatic practice.
You just need to be curious and willing to experience something different.
What we'll explore
Every six months, we'll work with rotating themes including:
The practitioner nervous system
Understanding what happens in your own body when you're sitting with another person's distress, trauma, anger, grief or dysregulation.
Co-regulation
Moving beyond the idea of regulation as something we "do" to clients and exploring what happens relationally between nervous systems.
Capacity and clinical presence
Developing the ability to stay present, connected and responsive without becoming overwhelmed or disconnected.
Boundaries in the body
Recognising the physiological signals that often appear before we consciously realise a boundary has been crossed.
Over-functioning and rescuing
Understanding the protective patterns that can lead practitioners to take too much responsibility for clients.
Countertransference and somatic awareness
Becoming curious about what your body may be communicating before your cognitive mind has made sense of it.
Sustainable practice
Developing ways of working that protect your capacity rather than requiring you to continually override it.
Practical NSI tools
Building a repertoire of nervous system and somatic practices you can use personally, professionally and with appropriate clients.
What actually happens in a session?
This isn't an hour of sitting around a screen while one person talks and everyone else listens.
Sessions will combine:
Nervous system education
Somatic and experiential practices
NSI tools
Practitioner self-awareness
Reflection on the therapeutic relationship
Practical application
Modelling attuning and pacing
Sometimes we'll talk. A little.
Sometimes we'll practise.
Sometimes we'll slow right down and notice what's happening in your body.
The point is experience and integration.
Taking what you know intellectually and developing the capacity to actually use it when it matters.
What is Neuro Somatic Intelligence™?
Neuro Somatic Intelligence (NSI) is an integrative approach that brings together knowledge about the brain, nervous system, psychology and the body.
It recognises that humans don't simply think their way through experience. We perceive. We sense. We respond. We protect. We connect. And much of this happens before conscious thought catches up.
What the approach draws from
Evidence-informed principles and frameworks including:
Neuroscience and neuroplasticity — understanding how the brain and nervous system adapt through experience.
Interoception — developing awareness of internal bodily signals and how they influence emotion, decision-making and behaviour.
Autonomic nervous system science — understanding states of activation, mobilisation and settling.
Polyvagal Theory — exploring autonomic states, connection and cues of safety, while recognising the ongoing scientific debate and limitations around specific claims.
Attachment theory — understanding relational patterns and their relevance to therapeutic relationships.
Trauma-informed practice — recognising protective adaptations and avoiding approaches that inadvertently recreate threat or loss of control.
Somatic psychology — bringing bodily experience into psychological understanding and practice.
Compassion-focused approaches — working with shame, self-criticism and threat-based patterns.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — developing psychological flexibility and values-based action.
Schema Therapy — understanding longstanding patterns and protective strategies.
Interpersonal and relational approaches — recognising that therapeutic change happens within relationships, not simply through information.
NSI provides the organising framework.
The aim isn't to learn a collection of theories.
It's to develop embodied intelligence. To learn to speak the language of your own nervous system as the helping professional.
What you'll leave with
Over six months, you'll develop:
More awareness of your own nervous system and how it responds in your professional role.
More tools for working with activation, capacity, boundaries and regulation.
More confidence in recognising what's happening beneath the words.
More flexibility in how you respond to clients and clinical situations.
More sustainability in the way you hold your professional role.
And potentially, a much richer understanding of what happens when we stop treating the body as separate from the mind, protective strategies and therapeutic process.
The structure

Accessible pricing
Designed to make ongoing supervision and professional development more sustainable—not another expensive commitment you struggle to maintain.
This is supervision—but not as you may know it.
If you are looking for traditional supervision focused primarily on case review, clinical formulation and professional reflection, this may not be the right group for you. You can seek that in 1:1 Supervision with Jen, as she provides this under the traditional critical and practice reflection pathway.
If you're looking for something more experiential...
If you're curious about what your nervous system brings to the therapeutic relationship...
If you want to understand your own responses as a practitioner better...
If you want practical somatic tools rather than another hour of talking...
you might have just found your people.
Who this isn't for
This isn't for practitioners looking for:
A purely traditional supervision model
Clinical instruction or formal training in a particular modality
Someone to provide all the answers
A passive professional development experience
A space to simply vent about difficult clients
It's also not a substitute for individual supervision where specific clinical, ethical or professional matters require dedicated attention.
You'll be invited to bring curiosity, openness and a willingness to experiment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actually supervision?
Yes—with an intentionally non-traditional approach. The group incorporates supervision and professional development, while placing a much stronger emphasis on nervous system awareness, somatic practice and experiential learning than many conventional supervision groups. If you require supervision to meet a specific professional registration or organisational requirement, you should check that this group meets your particular requirements before enrolling.
Who can join?
The group is designed for therapists and helping professionals, including counsellors, social workers, psychologists, coaches and other practitioners working in relational or wellbeing-focused roles. If you're unsure whether your professional role is a good fit, you're welcome to get in touch before joining.
Do I need to be trained in NSI?
No. The concepts and practices will be introduced within the group. You don't need previous NSI or somatic training.
Is this a clinical training program?
No. You'll learn practical NSI and nervous system tools and explore their application to professional practice, but this isn't a formal qualification or certification program.
Will we discuss actual client cases?
No. Case discussion and clinical reflection are not part of this group or style of supervision. This group is about you and offering your sustainable nervous system tools under the NSI framework that you can take and apply in your ongoing work with yourself.
Generic references to client / patient/ service matters may come up when examples of when a tool or approach could be useful, but we will not be exploring any actual matters.
Will I have to do somatic exercises?
The group is experiential, so there will be opportunities to practise every time, yes. However, participation is always invitational only. These are trauma-informed and empowerment based groups - which means you are encouraged to be in your agency and enact choice. There is definitely no requirement to disclose personal information or engage in an exercise that doesn't feel appropriate for you. We do encourage you to try to give something a go so that you get the most out of these practice groups.
What if I'm already experienced?
That's exactly where this group can become interesting. This isn't an introductory "what is the nervous system?" course. The material can be explored at increasing levels of depth depending on your experience, curiosity and clinical context. Experienced practitioners may find that the neuro-somatic lens adds another dimension to knowledge they already have. In fact, we find it usually does.
Is this therapy?
No. This is professional supervision, education and experiential learning. Personal material may naturally arise when practitioners become curious about their own responses, but the group is not intended to provide individual psychotherapy. If something arises in this area for you, we encourage you to take note of that and take it to the relevant other support space in y
Why only one hour a month?
Because sustainability matters. The intention is to create a professional development rhythm that practitioners can realistically maintain alongside their existing work and life load. You'll have the opportunity to practise and integrate between sessions rather than being overwhelmed with more content. Supervision provision is usually monthly.
Why a closed group?
Because depth requires continuity and safety. The same practitioners remain together for six months, allowing trust, familiarity and shared learning to develop. Even if time spent together is largely non-verbal and excludes disclosing matters. You aren't starting from scratch every month. An intentional slow build. If you choose to continue into ongoing 6 monthly collectives, you may see the same faces or new ones every 6 months.
What does "Australia-wide" mean?
The group is delivered online and is open to practitioners anywhere in Australia. Sessions will be scheduled at a time designed to work across Australian time zones as best as possible.
When will this be?
This is likely to be Mondays AEST - exact confirmation in January 2027. A list of monthly times and dates will be sent out to the group.
What to expect
Monthly 1-hour live online sessions (this will likely be recorded)
Six-month closed group
Practitioners across Australia
Strong focus on practical nervous system regulation tools
Strong focus on somatic and experiential practices
Very little talking and verbalisation - this may look and feel non-mainstream when we think about supervision and reflective practice
A trauma-informed space filled with invitation and choice only
Every cohort evolves differently, allowing space for the needs and experiences of the participants within it.
Every 6 mth group will offer a different focus point and often build on the last. However you are welcome to join for as little or as many ongoing rounds of as you would like. The trainings, teachings, tools and practices will only compound and accumulated for your benefit over time.

A note for lived experience workers
If you're a lived experience worker or helping professional with your own history of family violence or coercive control, you may find that either the Reclaimed Self Collective or the Practitioner Collective feels like the better fit for you.
There isn't a right or wrong choice. Consider what you most need from the space at this point in your life—whether that's a focus on your own recovery and reconnection with Self, or a professional space to explore your practice through an NSI lens.
We trust you to know what feels most appropriate for you, and you're welcome to choose the group that best fits your current needs.
Ready for something different?
You don't need another course telling you more things you already know. You may need somewhere to slow down, notice, practise and integrate. To become more aware of what happens in your own nervous system while you're supporting someone else's. To expand your clinical toolkit beyond talking and cognition. To bring the body back into the room, and the therapeutic relationships. Come and experience supervision differently.
Affordability
We really want you to be able to access this sustainably and reasonably without breaking the bank. This is priced at $120 per monthly session (GST excl), for 6 months. This is only far less than one on one supervision. There is a payment plan option if paying the total up front is not an option. As professionals you can also claim this as professional development and support or supervision at tax return time.
A six-month Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ journey for womxn healing and rebuilding life after family violence and coercive control.
For womxn ready to reconnect with themselves, rebuild trust and create a life beyond survival.
Reconnecting with your body. Rebuilding self-trust. Reclaiming your life.
You survived.
Now comes the part no one really teaches.
How do you learn to trust yourself again?
To hear your own intuition after years of second-guessing?
To feel safe in your own body?
To stop living in survival mode when the danger has ended?
This is not a support group.
It is a guided, experiential journey that combines Neuro Somatic Intelligence (NSI), nervous system education and embodied practice to help you reconnect with yourself from the inside out.
Because healing isn't just understanding what happened with our cognitions.
It's teaching your nervous system that your life belongs to you again.
What to expect
Monthly 1-hour live online sessions (these will not be recorded for privacy purposes)
Six-month closed group
Women across Australia
Small, carefully held group
Practical nervous system regulation tools
Neuro Somatic and experiential practices
A trauma-informed space focused on rebuilding capacity, confidence and connection to self
This isn't about endlessly retelling your story. In fact, we won’t be relying on talking much at all.
It's about creating a new relationship with yourself, gently, slowly, with neuro somatic tools that address rebuilding safety by centring our nervous system as the foundation.
Nothing will be forced. There will be participation options to choose from depending on what feels right for you on the day (for example cameras off).
This isn't because you're failing to heal. At all.
Coercive control doesn't simply affect what you think.
It can change what you learn to expect, how to trust yourself and make decisions again. And have long term ramifications.
You may have spent a long time monitoring another person's mood, managing their reactions, avoiding conflict, suppressing your needs, questioning your own perceptions or adapting yourself to keep things calm.
Those responses weren't character flaws.
They were ways of navigating a situation that wasn't safe or predictable.
Your nervous system learned. It adapted. It became very good at detecting threat, anticipating what might happen next and protecting you.
Those adaptations may have helped you survive.
But after the relationship has changed or ended, they don't always switch off simply because you know you're safe now.
That's where this work begins.
This isn't about fixing you. There is nothing wrong with you that needs to be fixed.
The Reclaimed Self Collective is about understanding the patterns that developed for good reason—and gradually creating the conditions for something different.
We won't spend six months analysing everything that happened to you.
We won't require you to retell your story.
And we won't tell you to simply "move on."
Instead, we'll become curious about what is happening now.
What happens in your body when someone is disappointed with you?
What happens when you need to say no?
What happens when you make a decision for yourself?
What happens when someone is angry?
What happens when you don't know what someone else is thinking?
What happens when you put your own needs first?
These moments can tell us a great deal.
Your body is part of the healing.
You may already understand coercive control intellectually.
You may have read about trauma.
You may know that your responses were adaptive.
You may even be able to explain your patterns beautifully.
But understanding something cognitively doesn't automatically mean your nervous system has learned something different.
That's why this is an experiential collective.
Through Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ (NSI), we'll work with the relationship between:
What happens → What your nervous system detects → How your body responds → What your protective system does → What you do next
The aim isn't to eliminate your responses.
It's to understand them.
To recognise them earlier.
To develop capacity.
And, over time, create more space between what happens and what you automatically do.
That space is where choice begins.
Who this is for
The Reclaimed Self Collective is specifically for women who have experienced family violence, coercive control or emotionally abusive relationships and are ready to focus on rebuilding their relationship with themselves.
You might be:
Recently separated
Further along in your recovery
Years out of the relationship but still noticing its effects
Rebuilding after a long period of coercive control
Struggling with self-trust or decision-making
Finding boundaries difficult to maintain
Experiencing guilt when prioritising yourself
Still highly alert to other people's moods and reactions
Disconnected from your own wants, needs or preferences
Finding it difficult to know what you actually feel
Wanting to reconnect with your body
Ready to build a life based on your own choices rather than someone else's expectations
You don't have to be "fully healed." You don't have to have everything figured out.
And you don't have to identify with the word "survivor." You simply need to recognise that you want more of yourself back.
It’s for
People who identify as womxn who have experienced family violence, coercive control or emotionally abusive relationships and are ready to move beyond surviving and begin rebuilding a life that feels like their own.
Whether your relationship ended recently or years ago, this group is for women wanting practical tools, compassionate community and a different way of healing beyond rehashing and talking only.
This is an inclusive group for womxn identifying folks. Given that family violence is largely gender based, it is highly likely the group will consist of many/predominantly cis-women, however it will remain an inclusive group open to all who identify as womxn.
What we're actually working towards
Not becoming someone completely different. Coming back into relationship with the person underneath the adaptations.
Over time, we'll begin with the foundations of nervous system awareness and gradually build your ability to recognise, understand and work with your own patterns.
We'll explore:
Your nervous system
Learning to recognise what activation, settling, shutdown and overwhelm actually feel like for you.
Your patterns
Beginning to notice what reliably happens when something feels threatening, uncertain, uncomfortable or emotionally charged.
Your protective responses
Understanding the strategies your system may have developed to keep you safe—without shaming yourself for having them.
Your capacity
Learning to recognise your limits and early warning signs rather than continually overriding them.
Choice
Practising the possibility of pausing, creating space and responding differently.
Self-trust
Beginning to reconnect with your own signals, preferences, instincts and decisions.
This isn't about becoming regulated all the time.
It's about becoming increasingly able to notice, understand and choose.
What makes this different?
There are plenty of places where you can talk about what happened.
There are also plenty of places where you can learn about trauma, coercive control and recovery.
This is different.
The Reclaimed Self Collective focuses on what happens inside you now.
Because after prolonged coercive control, you may know intellectually that:
"I am allowed to say no."
But your body might respond:
"No isn't safe."
You may know:
"I don't need to keep everyone happy."
But your nervous system might respond:
"If they're unhappy with me, something bad could happen."
You may know:
"I can trust myself."
But years of having your reality questioned may have made that incredibly difficult to feel.
We work in the space between knowing and embodying.
What happens in the Collective?
Each monthly session combines:
Accessible nervous system education
Neuro Somatic Intelligence™ tools
Guided somatic and experiential practices
Light reflection, connection, time spent in company
You won't be expected to tell your story.
You won't be put on the spot.
You won't be required to disclose personal information.
You can participate at a level that feels appropriate for you.
The focus is not on repeatedly revisiting the past.
It's on developing your relationship with yourself in the present.
The structure
Six-month closed collective - The same women remain together for the duration of the experience.
One hour each month - A manageable, contained commitment alongside the rest of your life.
Live online - Join from anywhere in Australia.
Small group - Intentionally limited to create a more personal, carefully held experience.
Experiential - You'll learn through doing—not just listening.
Accessible - The collective is intentionally priced to make consistent participation more achievable.
What you might notice changing
This work isn't about promising a particular outcome or suggesting that six months can erase what you've lived through.
But you may begin to notice things such as:
Catching your stress response earlier
Recognising when you're automatically appeasing
Understanding why certain situations feel disproportionately difficult
Becoming clearer about what you actually want
Making decisions with less second-guessing
Noticing guilt without automatically obeying it
Feeling more connected to your body
Recognising your own boundaries
Having more capacity for difficult emotions
Experiencing more choice in situations that previously felt automatic
Small shifts can matter enormously.
Because sometimes reclaiming yourself isn't one dramatic moment.
It's a thousand tiny moments of: "Actually, I choose this."
This is not about becoming fearless.
You may still feel anxious.
You may still have difficult days.
You may still have moments where an old response takes over.
Healing doesn't mean your nervous system never reacts.
It means you become increasingly able to recognise:
What's happening.
Why it's happening.
What you need.
And what you want to do next.
That's the work of becoming more Self-Led.
You don't have to become who you were before.
Maybe that version of you doesn't exist anymore. Maybe she adapted. Maybe she survived.
Maybe she became very good at reading the room, keeping the peace, anticipating problems and putting herself last.
You don't need to go backwards. You get to discover who you are now when your life has more room for choice.
The Reclaimed Self Collective is a place to begin. Your life belongs to you. Let's begin learning what that feels like.
Who this isn't for
The Reclaimed Self Collective is not:
Group therapy
Trauma processing
Crisis support
A space for detailed retelling of traumatic experiences
Legal advice
A replacement for individual therapeutic support
A program promising to "fix" trauma in six months
This is a trauma-informed, educational and experiential group focused on nervous system awareness, practical NSI tools, self-trust and rebuilding capacity.
If you are currently experiencing significant danger, ongoing violence or coercive control, or require crisis or therapeutic intervention, individual specialist support may be more appropriate right now for 1:1 support.
What is Neuro Somatic Intelligence™?
Neuro Somatic Intelligence (NSI) is an integrative framework bringing together neuroscience, psychology, nervous system education and embodied practice.
It recognises that our responses aren't simply cognitive.
We think.
We feel.
We sense.
We respond.
We protect.
We connect.
And much of what happens in our nervous system occurs before we consciously decide what to do.
NSI provides a way of becoming curious about these patterns without reducing you to them.
Your nervous system is part of your story. It is not your identity.
What the approach draws from
The work is informed by evidence-informed principles and theories including:
Neuroscience and neuroplasticity
Interoception and embodied awareness
Autonomic nervous system science
Attachment theory
Trauma-informed practice
Somatic psychology
Compassion-focused approaches
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Schema-informed understanding of patterns and protective strategies
Relational approaches to psychological wellbeing
These frameworks provide context and understanding. But this isn't an academic course.
We'll spend less time learning terminology and more time noticing what is actually happening in you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No. The Reclaimed Self Collective is an educational and experiential NSI group, not group psychotherapy. My therapeutic background informs the way the group is designed and facilitated, but this service is not a substitute for individual therapy or trauma treatment.
Do I need to be recently separated?
No. There is no particular timeframe. Some women may be relatively recently out of a relationship. Others may have been separated for years and still notice the effects of coercive control showing up in their nervous system, relationships or sense of self. The focus is where you are now.
What if I'm still dealing with my ex-partner?
This depends on your circumstances. The group is focused on recovery and rebuilding yourself rather than managing an active family violence situation. If you are currently experiencing ongoing violence, threats or coercive control, the learnings, tools and practices in this group are likely still going to be appropriate for your overall stress and functioning. We ask that you carefully consider your safety - you are the wise expert in your situation. If you determine additional specialist safety support is needed please obtain that. Your safety comes first.
Do I have to talk about what happened?
No. There is no requirement to tell your story or disclose traumatic experiences. The focus is on developing awareness of your present-day nervous system and patterns.
Will this involve trauma processing?
No. This isn't a trauma-processing group. We may acknowledge how past experiences can shape present-day protective patterns, but we won't be doing detailed trauma processing or exposure work.
What if I don't know what my nervous system is doing?
That's completely okay. That's part of what you'll learn. You don't need to arrive knowing the terminology or being able to identify your nervous system states. We'll start simply, inclusively, non-judgementally.
What if I'm very disconnected from my body?
You are not expected to suddenly become highly body-aware. For some women, tuning into the body can initially feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar or even unsafe. Practices will be invitational and introduced gradually. The goal is not to force awareness or change. It's to gently, gradually build a relationship with your internal experience at a pace that is appropriate for you. It would be completely expected and normal to have many people in this group have come from past or present experiences of disembodiment, disassociation and disconnection - that is ok.
Is this a support group?
No. Connection, familiarity and peer support (even by quietly witnessing and gathering) are important parts of the experience, but this isn't primarily a peer support group. It is a structured, facilitated NSI learning and experiential collective. You'll have community and practical tools. If you choose to connect of your own accord with each other and meet up outside of the group, by all means - that is completely fine, encouraged and up to you - no pressure at all.
What if I already have a therapist?
That's absolutely possible. The collective has a different purpose from individual therapy and may complement existing therapeutic work.
What happens if I miss a session?
We get it - it happens. Wherever possible continuity and consistency matter. Unfortunately the sessions won’t be recorded for privacy reasons.
Why only one hour a month?
Because this is designed around integration rather than information overload. We honour everyone’s capacity and existing full lives. You also don't need another six hours of content every month. You more than likely need a small amount of meaningful learning, an opportunity to experience it, and time to notice what happens when you take it into your actual life.
Why six months?
Because self-trust and nervous system awareness aren't things you can download. They're developed through repeated experience. Six months gives you time to notice patterns, practise new responses and begin recognising what changes. Every time this Collective is run it will go for 6 months. You can do as many 6 month rounds as you like. They will each build and develop and cover a different topic or theme.
Is it available across Australia?
Yes. The collective is delivered online and is open to women anywhere in Australia.

Affordability
We really want you to be able to access this sustainably and reasonably without breaking the bank. This is priced at $50 per monthly session, for 6 months. The total for the full 6 months participation equals only slightly more than one single therapy session would cost. There is a payment plan option if paying the total up front is not an option.
You do not need a referral or MHCP and this program intentionally is not set up for one.
This cost is heavily reduced already and the out of pocket is the same as what you’d pay if you went to the GP for a MHCP for group work anyway. We have removed the need to add another layer of logistics, cost and gatekeeping by saying you don’t need to go to the GP. We hope this makes sense - happy to chat more anytime.
If cost still remains a prohibiting factor in your participation, please contact us directly to discuss.
Understand your patterns. Regulate your nervous system. Strengthen your Self-Led Self.
All for the price of one single therapy session. And without the wait.
Your inner critic is not a mindset problem.
It's often a nervous system strategy that once helped you survive.
Until your body feels safe enough, basic confidence techniques rarely stick.
Learn why your inner critic developed, why it feels so convincing, and how to loosen its grip using neuroscience, nervous system tools and compassionate self-leadership.
Quiet the voice that keeps you doubting yourself, so you can make decisions and take action with more clarity, confidence and self-trust.
We’re not trying to "get rid of" the inner critic. We’re helping you recognise your internal voices, their purposes and reach clarity over who you want to be in the driver seat.
By the end of the 10 days, the goal isn't silence or to eliminate your Inner Critic—it's that the Self-Led Voice becomes the one leading the conversation and making your decisions.
Something isn't working... and deep down, you already know it isn't because you need more willpower.
You've read the books. Listened to the podcasts. Tried positive thinking. You've learned about confidence, boundaries, self-compassion and mindset.
You know what you should do.
So why does the same old voice keep showing up?
The one that tells you you're not ready yet.
That you should wait until you're more qualified.
That everyone else has it together.
That you'll probably get it wrong.
That you're "too much"... or somehow still "not enough."
It's exhausting.
And if you're honest, you're tired of fighting with yourself.
The truth is, your inner critic isn't simply a mindset problem to overcome. More often than not, it's a nervous system strategy that developed to help you survive, belong, stay safe or avoid rejection.
That critical voice once had a job.
But if it's still running your life decades later, it's probably costing you far more than it's protecting you from.
This is where the real work begins.
Not by trying to silence the critic.
By understanding it.
Listening differently.
And learning how to strengthen another voice instead—one grounded in clarity, compassion and self-leadership.
Introducing The 10-Day Inner Critic Reset
A private email coaching experience to help you quiet self-doubt, calm your nervous system and build genuine self-trust—one day at a time.
For 10 days, you'll receive one carefully crafted email delivered straight to your inbox.
Each day's lesson intentionally and thoughtfully builds on the last.
In just 10–15 minutes, you'll explore practical psychology, nervous system education, reflective coaching questions and simple daily practices that gently shift the way you relate to yourself.
No information overload.
No toxic positivity.
No pretending confidence is something you can simply think your way into.
Instead, you'll begin understanding the deeper patterns driving your inner critic—and learn practical ways to respond from a calmer, more self-led place.
Why This Works
Most confidence advice focuses on changing your thoughts.
But your nervous system decides whether those new thoughts actually feel believable.
When your body has learned that mistakes equal danger...
That conflict means rejection or abandonment...
That success comes with impossible pressure...
Your inner critic steps in to keep you safe.
It isn't trying to ruin your life.
It's trying to protect you.
The problem is that it's using strategies that may have worked years ago but no longer serve the person you've become.
Throughout these 10 days, we'll gently begin rewiring those patterns—not through force or shame, but through awareness, nervous system regulation and repeated experiences of safety.
Because lasting change happens when your mind and your body begin telling the same story.
Imagine What Could Feel Different 10 Days From Now
You notice the critical voice—but it no longer gets the final say.
You stop replaying conversations for hours.
You catch perfectionism before it steals another opportunity.
You understand why your inner critic appears instead of believing everything it tells you.
You feel more settled making decisions without endless reassurance.
You begin recognising the difference between fear and intuition.
You speak to yourself with the same compassion you naturally offer everyone else.
Perhaps most importantly...
You begin trusting yourself again.
Not because you've "fixed" yourself.
Because you've started leading yourself differently.
Your Journey
This isn't 10 random emails. It's a carefully designed progression.
Part One: Understanding the Critic
Discover where your inner critic came from, why it developed and how your nervous system keeps it alive.
You'll begin noticing patterns you've probably lived with for years without recognising them.
Part Two: Strengthening Your Self-Led Voice
Instead of trying to eliminate self-doubt, you'll learn how to respond differently.
You'll build practical habits of self-trust, emotional regulation, healthy boundaries and compassionate self-leadership that continue well beyond these two weeks.
About Me
I'm Jen.
For more than two decades I've supported people through anxiety, burnout, trauma, perfectionism, depression and life's biggest transitions as a therapist and supervisor.
One thing has become incredibly clear.
The harshest voice most people live with isn't the one they hear from others.
It's the one they hear inside themselves.
That voice may have started elsewhere and become internalised, but now it’s here and can feel pretty overwhelming and controlling.
Over the years I've watched countless intelligent, capable people stay stuck—not because they lacked insight, motivation or potential—but because their nervous systems were still responding to old experiences as though they were happening today. Their nervous system did not feel safe and their Self Voice wasn’t able to be heard.
My work brings together psychology, neuroscience, trauma recovery work, attachment theory, systems theory, empowerment models, pnolyvagal theory, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Neurosomatic Intelligence (NSI) to help people understand themselves with greater clarity, regulate their nervous systems and create change that feels sustainable, authentic and values driven rather than forced.
Because lasting confidence and self trust isn't about becoming someone different.
It's about becoming more fully yourself.
Is This For You?
This Reset was created for people who are tired of being their own harshest critic.
It's for you if you...
• constantly second-guess yourself
• overthink decisions, spiral or feel paralysed and stuck
• struggle with perfectionism or imposter feelings
• find it difficult to receive compliments or acknowledge your achievements
• know what to do intellectually but still feel stuck emotionally
• want practical, evidence-informed tools rather than empty motivation
• are ready and willing to build self-trust from the inside out, with bite size baby steps that don’t overwhelm or overpromise. Gentle, consistent invitations to shift.

FAQs
What if I miss a day?
Life happens. Your emails are yours to keep forever, so simply pick up where you left off. While the experience works best when completed daily, you'll still benefit if you need to pause and return.
How much time will I need?
Around 10–15 minutes each day.
Is this therapy?
No. This is an educational coaching experience designed to build self-awareness and practical nervous system skills. It isn't a substitute for individual therapy or mental health treatment, but it can complement therapy.
Do I need any prior knowledge?
Not at all. Everything is explained in clear, accessible language.
Will this help if I struggle with anxiety, burnout or perfectionism?
Many people experiencing these challenges also live with a loud inner critic. While this isn't treatment for a mental health condition, the tools you'll learn are designed to help you understand your nervous system and respond to yourself with greater compassion and confidence.
A 6 module self-paced online program to regain clarity, agency and sustainable practice for health and helping professionals who don’t want to lose themselves in the work.
You chose a helping profession because you care.
You probably care deeply.
But somewhere along the way, the work can start asking more and more of you.
Your time.
Your energy.
Your emotional capacity.
Your nervous system.
Sometimes even your sense of who you are outside the role.
You become good at carrying things.
Good at adapting.
Good at getting through.
Good at putting yourself second.
Until one day you realise you're functioning — but you're not necessarily living or working in a way that feels like you anymore.
Work Wisely is about changing that.
Not by telling you to become more resilient so you can tolerate more.
Not by adding another self-care checklist to your already-full life.
And not by asking you to become less caring, less committed or less human.
Instead, this program helps you understand how you've learned to operate, what keeps you stuck in autopilot, and how to develop a more sustainable, self-led way of working and living.
This is for you if...
You work in health, social services, family violence, community services, lived experience, counselling, therapy, or another helping profession.
And perhaps you recognise some of this:
You care enormously about the people you work with, but increasingly feel depleted by the work.
You find yourself operating on autopilot, getting through the day rather than consciously choosing how you want to work.
Boundaries can be difficult — particularly when you know someone needs you.
You over-function, overthink, over-give or take responsibility for things that aren't actually yours to carry.
You struggle to switch off after work.
Your nervous system feels like it is constantly "on".
You know what you should be doing, but can't seem to consistently translate insight into change.
You want to work sustainably without becoming detached or cynical.
You're questioning what success actually means to you.
You want to feel more grounded, authentic and in charge of your professional life.
And perhaps most importantly:
You don't want to lose the parts of yourself that made you good at this work in the first place.
What we're really working on
At the heart of Work Wisely is a simple question: What would change if you stopped operating from autopilot and started leading yourself more consciously?
You'll explore the relationship between: Your patterns → your nervous system → your protective strategies → your choices → your relationships → your work → your sustainability.
Because burnout, boundary difficulties and professional depletion rarely happen because you don't know enough.
Often, they happen because your knowledge hasn't yet become embodied practice.
This program helps bridge that gap.
Your 6-module pathway
The program is organised into six progressive modules, each designed to be worked through at your own pace. We recommend to cover one module per week, but of course you can slow this right down and simply access the content as you feel you have time and capacity.
MODULE 1 — ORIENTATION AND INDUSTRY CONTEXT
The state of our sector: wellbeing trends, burnout risks, and lived experience challenges.
ProQOL self-assessment
Orientation to my CLEAR framework
Grounding and intentions for your sustainable practice.
The shift: From “What's wrong with me?” to “What is my system responding to?”
MODULE 2 — C- CONTEXT
Mapping your personal context: schemas, roles, family-of-origin, attachment, culture
How these shape your worldview and approach to helping and your role
Seeing your patterns clearly, with compassion
The shift: From Why do I keep doing this?” to “I can see what is happening.”
MODULE 3 — L - LOOK INWARDS
Developing observer awareness: body, thoughts, emotions, urges, countertransference
Asking: “What’s being stirred in me?”
Mind-body awareness practices for presence and grounding
The shift: From fighting yourself to understanding yourself.
MODULE 4 — E - ENGAGE / EXPRESS
Bringing intentional presence to your work
Differentiating between reaction and response
Using self authentically but ethically in the client relationship
The shift: From “How do I stop letting people down?” to “How do I stay in relationship without leaving myself?”
MODULE 5 — A - APPLY / AGENCY
Integrating awareness into action
Regulating your nervous system in real time
Communicating and boundary-setting from clarity, not guilt
The shift: From responding automatically to choosing deliberately.
MODULE 6 — R - REFLECT (WORKING WISELY)
Deepening self-reflection and supervision practice
Testing insights, refining ethics and boundaries
Creating a personal sustainability plan for your ongoing professional growth
The shift: From surviving the work to consciously designing how you want to do it.
This isn't about becoming less caring.
It's about learning how to care without continually costing yourself.
You can be deeply compassionate without being endlessly available.
You can be committed without being consumed.
You can have boundaries without becoming disconnected.
You can care about your clients, your colleagues and your work and still include yourself in the equation.
What you'll get:
6 comprehensive self-paced modules
Practical exercises and reflection prompts throughout
Self-reflection and pattern-mapping exercises
Integration activities to translate insight into everyday practice
A structured pathway you can work through over approximately six weeks
Lifetime access to return to the material as your work and circumstances change
There are no weekly deadlines.
No requirement to keep up with anyone else.
No need to be "good at" personal development.
You work through it at a pace that supports actual integration.
What you can expect to walk away with
By the end, you'll have a much clearer understanding of:
How you operate
What drives your patterns, responses and habits.
What your nervous system is doing
And how that influences your capacity, boundaries and behaviour.
Where your boundaries need strengthening
And how to communicate and maintain them without unnecessary guilt or conflict.
What is yours to carry — and what isn't.
What authenticity actually looks like in your professional life.
How to recognise your early warning signs.
What sustainable practice means for you.
And, importantly: A stronger sense of yourself as the person leading your professional life — rather than simply reacting to everything it asks of you from autopilot and old survival patterns.
You don't need to be burnt out to do this.
Work Wisely isn't exclusively a burnout recovery program. It's also for the practitioner who wants to stay well before they reach breaking point. For the person who is noticing the signs. The person who knows something needs to change. The person who wants to build a different relationship with work before exhaustion becomes the price of staying in it.
A different kind of professional development
Most professional development gives you more information.
Work Wisely asks you to work with what you already know — and with the person doing the work.
It's practical. It's reflective. It's helps you start to become nervous-system aware. It's grounded in real-world helping work. And it's designed around one fundamental belief:
You shouldn't have to lose yourself in order to do meaningful work.
Ready to work more wisely?
If you've been operating on autopilot for a while, you probably don't need another thing telling you to try harder.
You might need space to stop, notice, understand and choose differently.
Work Wisely: From Autopilot to Authenticity — The Sustainable Self-Led Professional gives you that pathway.
Start whenever you're ready. Work through it at your own pace. Come back whenever you need it.
Designed especially for health, helping, social service, family violence and lived-experience professionals.
